Tokyo eats
In the late 1990s it was estimated that Tokyo was home to some 60,000 restaurants! Whether or not that figure still holds true is open to debate but anyone visiting the city for more than a few days will be astonished at the eating options on offer.
Wherever your taste buds originate, whatever type of food you crave, you will find it in Tokyo.
Come with an open mind as there are morsels and mouthfuls here you will find nowhere else in the world – and not all is of the stereotypical ‘raw fish’ variety - just don’t be disappointed when you leave several pounds heavier than when you first arrived.
