Tokyo Explorer is a work in progress. Like the country it is named after the website will never be ‘complete’ or ‘all there’ – and will never pretend to be.
Too much changes with time. Too many things that may stand correct today, will need updating, upgrading and forgetting tomorrow.
That’s where we come in.
As cultural filters of a sort, we intend to let through the good and keep back the inane, the unimportant and the irrelevant.
The pages of Tokyo Explorer will only ever contain information likely to bring you closer to the nation, her people and the culture created by this unique combination, but, if we have not got a particular aspect of the culture covered, let us know, and we’ll do something about it.
We can only succeed with your patronage and we hope our efforts here in Tokyo will add that little bit extra to your trip(s) to the Japanese islands, as part of your study of this ‘faraway’ land or simply to help satisfy a curiosity regarding a lone aspect of Japan.
