August is perhaps the hottest most humid month of the year in Tokyo – and it is a time people all over the city try and stay in the shade or near an air-conditioner. Those with the cash get out of the city all together while the hardy souls that make it out of reach of the air-con, find much of the city awash in lush greenery – a colour that dominates many of this month’s scenes from around the city.
