Old Japanese houses

Old Japanese houses are sadly few and far between nowadays - especially in Tokyo - so it is with great pleasure I stroll past this place each week on my way to work. No idea of the age, but the combination of wood and local fauna really is the ‘Japan’ many come here hoping to see - far more so that the concrete skyscrapers seen all over the place!
